Scope of This Manual

This manual covers the safe use of Spin Robotics tools as individual components.

It does NOT cover:

  • Design of a complete robot system

  • Integration with external equipment

  • Overall system safety validation

Important

The safety of the complete robot system is the responsibility of the integrator or end user.

Responsibility of the Integrator

The integrator or end user is responsible for ensuring that the complete system complies with all applicable safety standards and regulations in the country of installation.

This includes, but is not limited to:

  • Performing a risk assessment (e.g. according to ISO 12100)

  • Integrating additional safety devices if required

  • Configuring safety settings in the robot controller

  • Preventing unauthorized changes to safety settings

  • Validating the complete system before operation

  • Providing clear instructions for use

  • Marking the installation with relevant safety signs and contact information

  • Maintaining a complete technical file (including risk assessment and documentation)

Limitation of Liability

The safety information provided in this manual does not guarantee that the application will be free from risk of injury or damage.

Spin Robotics ApS assumes no liability for:

  • Damage or injury caused by improper installation or use

  • Modifications or misuse of the tool

  • Programming errors or system misconfiguration

  • Malfunction of the robot or external equipment

Any modification or misuse of the Spin Robotics tool may result in unsafe operation and void any applicable warranties.

Important

The tool is intended to be integrated into a complete system and must not be used as a standalone safety device.
