General Requirements
The SD/SDV-Series must be disposed of in accordance with applicable national laws, regulations, and environmental requirements.
Important
The integrator and end user are responsible for ensuring that the product is handled, recycled, and disposed of correctly.
Restriction of Hazardous Substances (RoHS)
The SD/SDV-Series complies with:
EU RoHS Directive 2011/65/EU
This directive restricts the use of hazardous substances in electrical and electronic equipment.
Restricted substances include:
Lead (Pb)
Cadmium (Cd)
Mercury (Hg)
Hexavalent chromium (Cr⁶⁺)
Polybrominated biphenyls (PBB)
Polybrominated diphenyl ethers (PBDE)
Phthalates (DEHP, BBP, DBP, DIBP)
Note
Compliance with RoHS reduces environmental impact and improves recyclability.
Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE)
The SD/SDV-Series is subject to:
EU WEEE Directive 2012/19/EU
Important
The product must NOT be disposed of as unsorted municipal waste.
It must be collected separately and handled through approved recycling systems.
User Responsibilities
